Emergency pet hospital evacuated in Concord amid hazmat investigation

A group of people in the East Bay were assessed by fire and medical crews Tuesday night after experiencing an odd, metal taste in their mouths.

It all started inside an emergency pet hospital on Meridian Park Drive in Concord.

The entire building evacuated as hazmat crews figured out the source.
