This past weekend, while everyone else was playing pickleball and cornhole, we opted for a game of How many celebrities can you spot in Kristen Bell’s Instagram photo? In a post that went viral on Friday, the actor shared a snapshot of an outdoor dinner party at South Fork Lodge, a luxury retreat in Idaho that late-night host (and apparent avid fly fisherman) Jimmy Kimmel bought in 2020. The assemblage of guests is both astounding and seemingly random. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Jimmy Fallon, Adam Scott, Olivia Munn, and Jason Bateman were just a few of the 30-something people in attendance. After going around and attempting to ID all the faces, something else familiar caught our eye: the Heather Taylor Home placemats.

We knew straightaway that the quilted gingham placemats and napkins could only be the work of textile and home goods designer Heather Taylor. Scanning the crowd once more, our suspicion was confirmed: Taylor, along with her husband, Alex de Cordoba, are seated in the middle of the extra-long wood table. The linens are in Heather Taylor Home’s Soho pattern, which the brand has also used on coasters, pouches, tote bags, and storage boxes. Way off in the distance, it’s also possible to make out a few of her shop’s nutmeg-colored gingham pillows around the firepit area.

Whoever it was that chose to deck out the dinner table and patio in Taylor’s products, we’re not surprised one bit that they did. The designer’s eye for cozy, laid-back details makes sense in a wild setting out West. Not to mention, once you lay down her pattern-packed placemats, you don’t need to do much else to the table, saving you a lot of time when you’re hosting this many people, A-listers or not.
